Stuck in the ‘burbs? You opted for the sub­ur­ban lifestyle. And why not? More space for the pets and kids, right? Only prob­lem is: your local water­ing hole is full of racists watch­ing rugby. We have the solu­tion! (Cue dra­matic music)

How it works: Rally a few equally dis­grun­tled cul­tur­ally iso­lated sub­ur­ban friends and book your seat on one of the Alexan­der Bar & Café Shut­tles (in asso­ci­a­tion with Cape Town Shut­tles)

Tick­ets are only R100 per per­son return.

A 13-seater Toy­ota Quan­tum (or sim­i­lar), will col­lect you around 7pm and then at 11pm return you back home again and includes a wel­com­ing glass of wine** upon arrival.
