The Stanimir Stoykov Late Night Picure Show
Bulgarian born and Johannesburg based film and theatre maker Stanimir
Stoykov (from the notorious "Boylesque" shows) has produced and directed
several queer short films, which have been screened at festivals around
the world. His work often both shocks and entertains, using satire to
parody and spoof mainstream cinema. Stanimir uses a unique blend
of underground performers such as drag queens like Sharon Bone as well
as mainstream theatre, film and TV actors.
This retrospective screening of his "movies" offers Cape Town audiences an opportunity to experience his whacky and outrageous work.
