porn |pôrn| (also porno |ˈpôrnō|) informal
noun
1 pornography.
2 films, television programs, books, etc., regarded as catering to a voyeuristic or obsessive interest in a specified subject : a thrilling throwback to the golden age of vampire movies—gothic porn of the highest order.

Three friends, three actors, two producers, one narrator, one warehouse, twenty four bats, five and a half marital aides, 60 tubes of lube, one bucket of cheaper lube, bought earlier... um... nine other things to make up the list, and then more items until we got to eighty-eight or even 88... which is the coolest number in the world, according to scientists and science.

The creators of CHAMP bring you a reading of a play so salacious, so risque, so likely to offend the squares and titillate the free and horny, that no theatre was willing to produce it. There was also a space issue and there are nine speaking roles and it's quite a complicated set, so it's a logistical nightmare, but that's neither here nor there.

Join Greg Karvellas and Louis Viljoen and their brave troupe of hungry-for-acclaim actors as they tackle the great un-produced script of this month or any other month (but probably only this month).

My friend Frank Opperman will say; "Lekker stupid né". It was thoroughly delightful and the best part was to see how much the actors enjoyed themselves. And to see Andrew back amongst friends.

Potential is there. As usual with Louis Viljoen, the writing is brilliantly, convolutedly, take your breath away, funny. But this seemed way too wordy. It became tedious. Confession: I left at interval as I wasn't totally engaged..... SO I'm not really allowed to pass judgement.

Can I only give 5 stars? That is very disappointing! I'm so disappointed in myself that I did not give them a standing ovation. Thinking back, I cannot remember if I've ever seen anything as brilliant as that. I thoroughly enjoyed it and therefore I am taking that as a compliment that, as the show, I am clearly ahead of my time! Brilliant writing, extremely very fucking funny, my abs are still recovering. At a stage I actually could not breathe I was laughing so much. Please please please do a longer run so I can bring all of my friends. Okay, I admit, I don't have that many, but I want everyone to see this. Absolutely fucking brilliant, I've been tweeting about it all night & day long. I'm doing a play in June and really just watched it to see what is out there... but FUCK! I'm blown away - excuse the pun, but it is intended ;o) Awesome awesome fucking super awesome - tell me you get the idea as I'm running out of words. Oh, and tell Ralph he is super fucking cute! Shit, and Tom, and Sophie Valentine.. Oh, and Greta! She needs to tell me her secret about what she did in that fuck scene with Tom & Sophie! Loved it, get it?

I really enjoyed! Glad Greg took it further than a "table reading". As for various reasons (!) this is almost impossible to stage in full production, I suggest it is presented in this format but radially cut. Max 70 minutes. Fabulous cast. Great to see Andrew Laubscher back from TRHS. Pity about Jon Keevy. ....Er...Just kidding....
