Coal perform lullabies to soothe any heartache. Their dark and ethereal soundscapes are immersive and rich with strains of loss, fleeting moments, deceit, distance and, sometimes, love. Their much anticipated album "The Ruse" will be available for purchase on the night.  The evening also marks the final show for this very unique band. Loved the show. Sound was fantastic love the intimacy of the space. Had dinner before. Staff are fantastic, down to earth friendly. Had two extra tickets which I handed to the guy handing them out. He managed to sell one and hand me the cash before the show. The room was full and all the seats full so wondering if he sold the other too? Coal were great, but there a few niggles with the venue. The room got really hot, really quickly, and the lighting was bit odd: fairly frequent flickering like a connection was loose, too fast transitions, and it was often either too bright or too dark. I still had a lovely time, though :).
