The Best of Play Things on First Thursday
For First Thursdays at Alexander Upstairs we'll be hosting 'The Best of Play Things'. Audiences drop in for 15 - 20 minute bites from a selection of performances first seen at our open-mic style evening, Play Things. This is the meeting of two cult events, this First Thursday art meets performance at Alexander Bar.
The drop-in set up means that audience members can come and go during the breaks to suit their fancy.
Our line up this February:
Starting at 6PM and running until 8PM
18:00 - A screening of 'Boat Girls' - a film by Roger Young, starring Michelle Du Plessis and Amy Louise Wilson.
18:40 - Some groovy tunes by Dave Knowles.
19:10 - Original feisty sounds from the super talented cast of 'No Jazz Hands Allowed' starring Amy Campbell, Richard White, Tammy De Klerk, Keenan Oliphant and special guest Amanda Tiffin.
