David Cornwell was born in Grahamstown in 1985. Now he lives in Salt River, where he writes novels, makes films and plays guitar for rock outfit KRAAL. His debut novel, Like It Matters will be published by Umuzi in April 2016. His writing has appeared in numerous local and overseas publications, such as The Mail & Guardian, The Chiron Review, Prufrock, and Quiddity International Literary Journal.
