Toast Coetzer (vocals, lyrics) and Stephen Timm (kaossilator) are members of Cape Town’s spoken-word improv band The Buckfever Underground. In this show they explore slightly different sonic territory than with their full band. The show will feature all-new lyrics, facial hair and jittery movements. “Music for the beau­ti­ful ones not yet born, a gen­er­a­tion that comes after the fact”, Rolling Stone wrote about The Buckfever Underground’s latest album. Tonight they will be supported by Wellington-based singer-songwriter Chris Wait.
