Ever wondered what happens when a jet made out of stone attempts to fly? What it sounds like? Stone Jets is a music duo that takes such musical elements and shares them with all willing to listen, and listen they do. Made up of Manfred (Guitar) and Given (Vocals), Stone Jets’ music is a sound to be consumed by and a sight to see. From generation to generation, somehow this duo seems to close the gap with their advise-laden, hard earned lyrics and interesting melodies ready to be shared. The journey started simply as being at the wrong place in the right time. We met at a recording session in Cape Town, where we collaborated together on some music. Given moved from Jo'burg to start the band with Manfred and continue the new found fusion. The name Stone Jets encompasses the fusion of our different musical and social backgrounds. Together, we form an Acoustic Folk Rock style that has its tonal fingers in a lot of pies...

With all said and done, it remains all about the music.
