A middle aged white woman alone in a dark room awakens to navigate her past, present and future. She constantly seeks light, an escape from her shattered sense of self. Her candid confessions and recollections are emotionally engaging; the humorous absurdity of life juxtaposed with heartache. A contemporary work dealing with abandonment, fear and madness. Biographies:
Sheldon Cross has an undergraduate degree from the University of Stellenbosch and an Honours degree from UCT (both cum laude). He has had great success in his directing projects which include The Odd Couple – The Female Version (2012) and Kismet (Out the Box Festival 2011). He is currently the Drama teacher at Battswood Arts Centre in Grassy Park, where he teaches Grade 4 – 12.

Michele Belknap graduated from UCT drama school and worked at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg. Michele is involved in both professional and amateur theatre and film work in Cape Town. Recent stage roles include Barbara Phillips in The Shadrack Affair, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Violet Weston in August Osage County, Olive Madison in The Odd Couple - The Female Version and Mme Pinchard in An Absolute Turkey.

No stars I'm afraid Great performance but the script took us nowhere.
