Twenty-one light years is a play about five young people who take the MyCiti bus.  It is a journey through the thoughts and feelings of common people. It takes a harder look at the stranger beside you. What lies beneath the surface while we are on this ride called life? What do you see if you use your peripheral vision? Buy your ticket and find out. On this wonderful planet there are gnomes and flamingos. There are ringing telephones and second hand shoes.  But most of all there is us and our experience of it all.

A brilliantly written and directed, relevant piece of theatre by Nicola Hanekom. Outstanding perfomances from ACT 2nd year students. Poignant, funny, thought provoking.

Considering that those young talented people are only 2nd year film students, I, and the other 3 people that accompanied me, thought the play was outstanding. I didn't get bored for one moment, and rode with emotions that were so easily driven by the actors.
