Fresh from the 2018 NAF Main Programme, At the Edge of the Light has been given 4 stars and described as ‘a salutary experience and noteworthy theatre’ (Beverley Brommert, Cape Times) and  ‘a terrific, suspenseful yarn’ (Brett Adkins, The Herald) with audiences describing it as ‘gut-wrenching’ with ‘exceptional performances’ and ‘eerie and gripping and I didn’t want it to end’. The story begins on a stormy night, when Girl arrives at the last safe place she knows, hoping to find solace in the grandmother she dimly remembers. Instead, Gran has shut herself away, terrified of the things that lie outside.'
