Join violinist extraordinaire, Hezron Chetty and vocalist Jules Terea as they join forces for one night only in an act of collaboration and storytelling.

This set will see these two musicians at the rawest form, stripped down and acoustic. Exploring a wide range of material the two artists have written throughout their careers as they tell the story of "Duende" an ideology that is deeply woven into their hearts.

"Duende" is the spirit of evocation and it comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to art. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive. The Duende Man has awakened and this is his journey told by two travelling musicians.

Vocalist/guitarist Jules Terea and violinist Hezron Chetty tell the story of the Duende Man as he travels through the new the path he is choosing. The Duende Man is free and clear and it now time for his story to be told.

Jules Terea:
South African/New Zealand singer-songwriter Jules Terea has embarked on an international journey, taking his musical tales around the world. Having completed a successful tour of New Zealand, South Africa and Switzerland in December 2016, Terea returned with new ideas. Five piece alternative/rock outfit, BRYNN was the birth of this and at its core is a collaboration of some of South Africa's finest musicians which includes David Van Vuuren (Southern Wild), Alex Smilie (Southern Wild), Eddy Kriel, and Hezron Chetty.

Hezron Chetty:
Hezron Chetty is a violinist from Cape Town, South Africa. His style is groundbreaking and thought provoking and his New Age violin techniques echo the sounds of influences such as Nicolo Paginini and Jimmy Page (Led Zepplin). Hezron has toured the world learning instrumental skills from gypsies, rockers, punks, jazz-heads, blues men, classical & folk musicians.
