Performed by Cami Chaos, Joy Smith and Joshua Grierson

The Artists:

Cami Chaos:  Cami Chaos is a lone gunslinger, a steam punk minstrel with the swing blues. Wielding her double bass like a weapon, she wanders the world looking for something undefinable at present; chaos following in her wake.

Joy Smith: 23 year old Joy Smith is something else; she is the real thing.  Horses dipped in yellow, suit-wearing foxes under her bed, watercolours painted for a dying grandmother and many other tales filled with love lost, gained and misplaced; this is just a tiny peek into the beautifully imaginative and visceral, yet near auto-biographical mind of Cape Town based singer/songwriter Joy Smith.

Joshua Grierson: Joshua Grierson is a passionate 31 year old Folk-Rock singer, songwriter and musician. And over the last 11 years, has built the reputation of being one of the hardest working artists South Africa has bred.  Through his sheer bull-headed determination, grierson has found himself supporting award winning acts like Finley Quaye, Yoav, Dan Patlansky, Laurie Levine, Josie Field, John Ellis, KONGOS, Tony Cox, Gary Thomas, Plush and Taxi Violence.  “Grierson’s central gift…is performances so gripping the world could be falling down around you and you wouldn’t notice.” – Rolling Stone magazine South Africa  “Whether you know it or not, and whether you believe it or not, Grierson is a rare and genuine talent.” – Jon Savage
