Sounds and Words as a poetic band creates a very conscious and intimate atmosphere, an artistic and spiritual ambiance which facilitates a deeper and higher level of communion with the audience. Our art speaks to audiences that cuts across different spectrum of class and race within the society. We strongly believe that we  carry a very positive message that  is worth sharing and engaging with.  The next event at the Alexander Bar, Cafe and Theatre which is scheduled for 19:00 on the 29th of July,  is going to be a communion of souls and a gathering of creatives. We cheerfully invite all humans to come support an intimate listening session with sounds to heal and words to commune. Expect an intimately emotive fusion of Afro-beat, Highlife, Jazz, Reggae and Soulful funk complementing the literary aesthetics of poetry and spoken word.
