Eric Omba is the founder and composer of Eric Omba & Friends. Since their formation in 2004, the band has traveled to Dubai, toured Africa for numerous festivals, including South Africa's 2010 Ubuntu Festival. In 2011 they were honoured to play alongside Jimmi Dludlu, Steve Newman, Khoitrans, and more. The band played a show at Rocking the Daisies 2013, and are busy recording an album, "Docta Makumba".
