Had a good couple of laughs, but nothing too exciting.

A bit of fun. Good compere / leader in DD Disaster. Some amateurish performances. Very tame in terms of burlesque / nudity. For goodness sake, in 2017 we should be able to survive seeing a nipple.

I always enjoy the Alexander Bar theatre experience but in this case my friends and I were disappointed. I understand that they were newbies but some of them were very awkward and unnatural. Perhaps the price should have been lowered seeing this was for amateurs - I am very happy to pay R150 but then it must be worthwhile.

What fun! The concept of presenting the Troupe's newbies is clearly a useful and welcome audience-building exercise. Seeing the performers in their respective stages of performance is both endearing and inspiring.
