Mother City Sketch returns to the Alexander Bar for more live original comedy skits . After their previous sold out shows the MCS crew are back for their third round of shows! A gaggle of performers and writers have  joined forces to bring you short, sharp and shockingly hilarious sketch comedy.

Definition of Sketch Comedy as given by the inter webs : A sketch comedy comprises a series of short comedy scenes or vignettes, called "sketches", commonly between one and ten minutes long. Such sketches are performed by a group of comic actors or comedians, either on stage or through an audio and/or visual medium such as radio and television.

Get ready for an all new collection of sketches which poke fun adult habits, the minds of kids, pompous court rooms, over zealous martial arts instructors and a zombie or two thrown in for good luck.

Audience Responses

Whilst humour is always the best medicine, and the individual skits were great, it would make sense to tie together the greater plot of the show... aligned to the title. But we thuroughly enjoyed it!

Very funny indeed; unpretentious, straight up humour with a dash of risque. Refreshingly different - I will be back to see more of these shows.
