Featuring brand new musical theatre pieces by award winning and renowned composers, Private Parts is a part of a new wave of musical theatre Mixing Bowl Productions has introduced in their sold-out concert series No Jazz Hands Allowed.
New musical theatre writers are experimenting with the constraints of the form, testing its limits, and trying new things – stylistically, with sound, with subject, and beyond. Building on the traditional form, New Musical Theatre is informed by our contemporary context and is trying to push the boundaries of what is considered musical theater.
