Newly qualified REAL PERSON, operator 357, is having a bit of difficult day, which is unusual, because nobody has difficult days anymore. You're not allowed to...

When the world went fully digital, the headache of having to deal with rude, incompetent and unfriendly people became a thing of the past. Now, strangers who may want to inflict an opinion on you are heavily monitored, as they should be. Citizens who work toward self-improvement are rewarded, and there's nobody better to help you be better than a REAL PERSON.

Real Person Inc. is Candice van Litsenborgh's sixth show for Canned Rice Productions, having previously produced/written Understudy Blues, From the Heart, Vacancy, Court and Sasolburg: Common Birds of South Africa. She has been a regular on South African and international stages for 21 years. Previous shows include Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Annie, Sweeney Todd and Little Shop of Horrors. She is a 3 time Fleur Du Cap nominee, Naledi nominee and Broadway World SA Best Lead Actress and Best Supporting Actress winner.

Claire-Louise Worby grew up in Sante Fe, New Mexico before moving to London to train at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. She then kicked of her career in Los Angeles before making the move to Cape Town. On South African stages, she played Betsy/Lindsey in the Fugard's productions of Clybourne Park (Broadway World SA Best Actress in a Leading Role) and Jen/Tawny in Court (Broadway World Best Supporting Actress). This is Claire-Louise's second time as the director of a Canned Rice show, having previously handled the silent clowning drama, Vacancy.
