An artist trapped in the incomplete world on her canvassas, a convicted murderess out on parole, a reporter desperate for a story to save his career, find themselves on a desolate farm off the beaten track. They set out to unravel the past in order to get a glimpse of their future, revealing a web of lies and deceit, hidden agendas and personal desires, fears and longings, discovering in the process the power of penitence and redemption.

Lawyer by day, wordsmith by night, William has written radio plays, some award winning short stories – one of which has been turned into a short film – and travel stories. He lives and works in Cape Town.
