Spend an intimate evening with the Alternative Folk act that's got everyone talking, BRYNN, at the gorgeous Alexander Bar Theater. From heavenly falsettos to powerhouse growls to breathtaking violin melodies built through a loop station, this evening is sure to leave you speechless.

BRYNN is an alternative folk/Rock act based in Cape Town.

2017 has seen BRYNN come into its own. The band consists of musicians like Hezron Chetty on Violin, David Van Vuuren on lead guitar and backing vocals, Alex Smillie (Southern Wild) on bass, Jules Terea on vocals and rhythm guitar and Eddy Kriel on drums. Already in their short time performing together the band has played at Shimmy Beach Club for charity event TUTUFEST where they shared the stage with acts like Alice Phoebe Lou and Majozi, played a packed out show at The Mercury Live and began recording their debut album at Popsicle Studios.

BRYNN performs also as a duo. Where vocalist Jules Terea (NZ) and Violinist Hezron Chetty strip their songs down for an incredibly powerful and raw acoustic set. The duo has performed in Tulbagh, Stellenbosch and Cape Town this year to wonderful reception from their audiences. Quickly building a strong reputation for delivering consistently passionate and exiting acoustic performances to the stage.

South African/New Zealand singer songwriter Jules Terea has embarked on an international journey of taking his musical tales around the world. Having completed a successful tour of New Zealand, South Africa and Switzerland in December 2016, Terea returned with new ideas. BRYNN was the birth of this and at its core is a collaboration of some of South Africa\'s finest musicians which includes David Van Vuuren ( Southern Wild), Alex Smilie (Southern Wild), Eddy Kriel and Hezron Chetty.

The Brynn duo is made up of Jules Terea and violinist Hezron Chetty.

Hezron Chetty is a violinist from Cape Tow, South Africa. His style is groundbreaking and thought provoking and his New Age violin techniques echo the sounds of influences such as Nicolo Paginini and Jimmy Page( Led Zepplin). Hezron has toured the world learning instrumental skills from gypsies,rockers,punks,jazz-heads,blues men, classical & folk musicians
