Tell us a little more about your show?
It’s a sketch comedy show and is ridiculously fun. We have worked together to develop and create scenes that we think people will relate to and enjoy. It’s our take on what we think really happens in certain situations like gym classes and dating. Some of The Long Shots have written some great material and it’s a lot of fun to play in.
And what’s next on the cards for you?
Becoming a Dad
And the project you’re dreaming of?
More of this, please!
How did you get into theatre?
My cricket skills only got as far as the garden and figured being on stage was less dangerous. Also, you got applauded for breaking windows instead of having your R5 pocket money withheld for a further 2 weeks.
Dinner with any two figures from history: who would you invite and what would you serve them?
Laurel & Hardy – Steers Burgers
Favourite spot in Cape Town (besides Alexander Bar, obviously)?
What excites you about theatre (or music/burlesque/magic/etc)?
That it can all go horribly wrong at any second
What mistakes have you made and learned the most from?
Use ovens gloves to take the Sunday roast
Who do you think people should be talking about?
Mark Middlewick – a winner in the Jameson First Shot film festival that premiered in LA over the weekend
